From the blind to the line
Where hunting instincts meet the challenge of competition
A true hunting retriever should thrive anywhere—from cold coastal mornings in the Texas duck blind to the high pressure of the HRC hunt test line. Follow our journey as our retrievers earn their working titles, put proven training to the test, and showcase the performance gear that powers every season.
SHR Kami Lou's Fire on the Bayou
She may have only been part of the Marsh Family for a few short months, but Kami Lou is already making waves in the HRC (Hunting Retriever Club) world! From learning the ropes of retrieving ducks to stepping up to the line at her first HRC Hunt Tests, this girl has risen to every challenge thrown her way with determination, drive, and a whole lot of heart.
We couldn't be prouder to announce that Kami Lou has officially earned her SHR (Started Hunting Retriever) title! What an incredible milestone for a girl who is just getting started!
For us, HRC Hunt Tests are about so much more than earning ribbons and titles. They're about building trust between dog and handler, strengthening the bond with every retrieve, and watching all those hours of training come together when it matters most.
And Kami Lou? She's proving she's got what it takes!
With her SHR title proudly earned, she's already back to work, training for the next level of HRC competition. There are new challenges ahead, more skills to master, and plenty of muddy paws and memories still to be made.
From the duck blind to the HRC test line, Kami Lou is showing us that she's ready to carry on the Marsh Family's retrieving legacy—one bird, one test, and one title at a time!
Keep chasing those ribbons, Kami Lou! We're just getting started! 🦆❤️🐾
SHR It's Mister to You
Some dogs are driven by the thrill of the hunt. Others live for the excitement of competition. And then there's Mister—a gentle soul whose greatest motivation comes from the love he has for his humans.
Mister has always had a passion for retrieving. He loves the hunt, the excitement of the HRC test line, and the opportunity to show what he's learned. He may not always be the fastest dog in the field, but what he lacks in speed, he more than makes up for in heart, determination, and devotion.
We are incredibly proud to announce that Mister has officially earned his SHR (Started Hunting Retriever) title through the Hunting Retriever Club! 🏆
But Mister's story is about so much more than a title or a ribbon. His greatest strength isn't measured by how quickly he retrieves a bird or how perfectly he completes a test. It's found in the bond he shares with his owner, Colton, and handler, Jamie. For Mister, the excitement of competition comes from something deeper than the desire to win. It's the opportunity to work alongside the people he loves, to hear their encouragement, to earn their praise, and to know he's made them proud. His willingness to give his all comes from the trust, loyalty, and connection he's built with his humans.
And that's what makes Mister so special.
HRC Hunt Tests celebrate the partnership between dog and handler, and Mister is a beautiful reminder of what that partnership is truly about. It's not always about being the fastest, the flashiest, or the first. Sometimes, it's about a dog who simply wants to give his very best for the people he loves most. Mister may have earned three letters to add to his name, but to us, he's earned something even greater—a place in our hearts that no ribbon could ever replace.
Congratulations, Mister, on earning your SHR title! Keep chasing those ducks, enjoying the competition, and showing the world that sometimes the biggest heart belongs to the gentlest dog.
Because at the end of the day, Mister doesn't just retrieve for the love of the hunt. He retrieves for the love of his humans. ❤️🐾🦆
